Discipline

Everyone wants to be free
Freedom of any kind gives us power
Bondage of any kind is a matter of detest

yet paradoxically freedom comes at a cost
Cost of chaos!
Power can be retained &
maintained through responsibility
orderliness bound by law.

Life is unimaginable without order
 Nature or the entire Universe thrives on Order
This reflects our interdependence
the unifying cause & effect relationship!

Every being needs a direction
bound to follow  its nature
 to be in Harmony with others.
Human settlements have found out a way
to align - giving source to regulations
fitting into system of  human accord

As individuals we enforce upon ourselves
certain regulations to carry our life
 in alliance to our standards of  living or ideals.
Rules set up by ourselves
for our own betterment
is what we call Self Discipline.
Its efficacy lies in its origin
Once  imposed, it needs to be watched
to be followed fully with integrity
for it brings Harmony and Peace
helps us keep aligned,
help us maintain Balance
Integrates us to our deepest core
our very essence of existence!

Abiding by Self discipline is what
brings us to our Centre-our pure Self


Indulging in mind may be pleasurable
but for sure it deviates us from Truth
Mind is like a mirage flashing most
desirable things we wish to happen
& entices to a point where we find ourselves
caught up in a mace!
Well certainly not we would like to let our
mind get into never ending race!
Ceaselessly running after pettiest desires-
being provoked at the slightest instincts
Mind has the special character of deviating us from Truth though it seems reality for the moment but turns out to be momentary gain
 alternatively promises us fleeting pleasures
We end up loosers  trading our essential goodness for sake of mere cheap sugar coated candies risking more of our quality of life rather compromising on our very own peace!

Its almost difficult to control mind or
not being swayed by mind.
 To restrain mind's bizarre temptations &  
to resist its deviations
it becomes all the more  pertinent  to keep a watch on how it functions
by decoding the cryptic nature of mind.

Once you are enlightened of your being
as a Seer and not as a subject
who is consumed in mind game
And  simply witnessing the whole episode
of drama of pain & deceitful encounters-
the discipline of being in knowlege through the eyes of wisdom & awareness
save ourselves to contain
life in its highest form & meaning.

Discipline indeed unleashes our true potential
help us embark on the journey
of fulfillment and glory!
