NATURE’S DELIGHT
A sapling was washed
out in heavy rain
Accidentally fell into
a filthy drain
Water was flooding from
all sides
Darkness was befalling
night sky
Seeking help, the
sapling wails
Silently to the torrents
of rain
“Don’t let my life go
in vain
Let me thrive in your terrain”
Just like a magic spell
A gusty wind blows to exhale
Flushing out everything
it takes
carrying the little sapling
at pace of rocket
express
Like a thousand thundering
bolt
The sapling landed with
a jolt
In the mushy lush garden
of harmony
Reviving life to the
plant so tiny
It was nature’s delight
that took care
Soon it sprang up to steering
height
Now it is laden with
fruits
which are both sweet
and ripe !
Hi, very nice poem!
