Yes you can question the validity of parameters set by society in defining what is meant by Discipline or Chaos. Or may say the fine line shift from Discipline to chaos is subjective and Society is unfair to impose such boundaries without giving any individual choice.
For me, Chaos is like a puddle of all colours mixed hapazardly without any estimate to produce or intension of purpose/creation. At the end what you are left with is muddy taint. Yet who knows this may be a reason of great discovery of new Art. Sometimes the bizzarest of chaos or mess or disorderliness can trigger phenomenal change for better.
What is peace of mind is again a personal matter and may vary from person to person. Like what is peaceful for one may not be for the other. There may be different ways to attain Peace. Its only the source which varies. The state of peacefulness is universal that is the state of equilibrium or equanimity.
The standard of Discipline set by society is questioned time & time again by newest ideas popping up with new age & change paves the path to growth & thats how a society evolves over a period of time.
Self Discipline is extremely individual . Its like imposing self restraint with the intention of getting desired results or reaching goals. Society does not interfere here, One's beliefs might happen to be conditioned, its quite possible.
What is everlasting need for discipline if it causes pain, & what if the so called promising gain turns out to be a burden itself later.
What is Life
What is Order
What is society
These questions are to be raised, interrogated & examined through all means . To begin with the answers can be sought with Self contemplation & the solutions are sure to flow in with Self Discovery on the first instance as one dives inwards.
I consider, submitting to Society's norms is not weakness or obligation rather its sign of respect to coexist in harmony. Though it does not imply that one has to succumb to superficial dogmatic notions of society which infringes very right of individual to lead a fair life. No doubt there are ills in society, many undermining fanatic norms are crippling the society. Here is the need for heroic rebellions to voice their concerns & claim redressal of their issues in public interest. No one must follow blindly anything imposed without getting a chance to understand what it means & why it is imposed. The law should be approved with general consent, still if any person does not agree, the law can be challenged on the basis of the democracy where every member is counted to have a say. The one who disagrees may gear up to face the trial, for to raise a voice involves risk of rejection. One must muster up courage on Self Faith to shake towering giant like Society with the preparedness to face the consequences.
So what if we end up with failure. Failures are the building blocks of success. Hence fearlessness & Self belief are the pillars to stand tall amidst Risky ventures or discord with society.
Very well said-
We are to avoid chaos lest it may lead to Unknown!
Unknown is the cradle of Creativity.
So don't be afraid to plunge into unknown.
The bigger picture is more fair & just .
Mind is a game trap...
if you play the game with sport , you enjoy life
if you dread the game with loathe, you suffer
You are caught in the maze of delusion,
deceit, confusion.
Difficult it is to gauge the enigma
but one can tap to mind power
in the light of Pure Self
Tread the path of unkown
through Self Discovery.
Yes it is worth to face the distress
giving it a stretch to come out of the
confines of comfort closets & think
differently as per one's unique abilities.
Freedom is basic right, precious & honour to life.
Not to be messed up with superficial
societal norms orthodox outdated values.
Though Freedom without check is fatal
Watch out for the fine line
where one needs to strike the right balance
between what is deemed right
and what is just
Only the time will justify.
Anchored in Self Belief
is sure to sail through torrential waves
& rise out of utter confusion.
Certainly there is no
war between Discipline & Freedom
Opposites it may sound
yet they are the sides of same coin
called Better Life.
