Success

SUCCESS

It is known that nothing comes free and SUCCESS too comes at some cost. So what is the price you are ready to pay for achieving success – the list may be long

Ø  One point dedication

Ø  Time

Ø  Energy (hard work)

Ø  Incessant persistent efforts

Ø  Commitment

Ø  Conviction in what you are doing

Ø  Knowledge/ training to gain skill/expertise

You may say these are essential on the path to success, like investment to reach that goal. Then what is that we have to sacrifice…. We have to curtail our distractions which can be very daunting, we have to be ready to face criticism, we have to be prepared to face failures on first hand. Yes, Failures are stepping stone of Success and one should not shy away from failures of any kind. They are testing our patience, our commitment, pushing our comfort zone, stretching our capabilities, or may say tapping onto our real potential. It is when we embrace failures, that we are actually able to overcome Failures. Likewise when we are ready to face criticism, we get the courage to stand any kind of critical review. Like taking a big leap towards our goal once we are all set to face any kind of challenges, not just accepting but also ready to absorb the consequences as well. Well here I can introduce the journey….. yes it’s the journey which is success to me rather than the mission itself.

For me success is not just the end result we are striving for, but I count the entire journey of reaching the goal- starting from the thought of conception, the in between process of chalking out a plan, accessing the inputs, assembling, target oriented action again and again till we reach the finishing line. Each & every stage in this process is crucial and worth risk taking. A hundred times the doubts may erupt, a hundred times the obstacles multiply not just in volume but in level. Pretty nerve wrecking journey where a little slip here or there may completely destroy the whole like building castle of cards and you may end up starting up all over again.  It’s a matter of striking the right balance. The interesting fact here is that you are actually not starting fresh next time, u get an advantage point of second attempt with your first experience. Next time you are prepared and if you are smart enough; you manage to dodge the previous errors. There are chances of less accidents as you are getting equipped with your experiences and lessons learnt. So this is where one part of success is achieved as we are adding to our learning experience. More exposure to real world helps to attain more knowledge, awareness, practical wisdom.

The term Success is very motivating and gives a purpose in our life to orient our time, energy, knowledge to one direction. When its not there, there is lot of scattered energy, diversion and we may be busy doing many things but we will never get the result. Its only when all requisite is assembled at one place (time, energy, efforts, knowledge, training, skill, dedication, perseverance, above all faith & hope ) that the real magic happens, we get amazing results, more than we could have ever imagined!

Every individual has their own version of Success. To me Success is an ongoing process like learning in life. We never stop learning, its an aptitude, a way of Life. In my understanding, many small tiny success makes a huge Success, right from getting up early in the morning, to tidying up your bed, jotting down your timeline for the entire day, routine rituals, and then the nerve wrecking determination to stick to your goals, actually realizing your plans into action, able to identify your weaker sections and address that, accepting is the first step to get over any negative trait. We are all human and expecting perfection is not fair and can be very detrimental to your mental health. One has to learn how to manage mental stress while striving for the best. One has to have a command on time management. All these in my view are your success stories in bit and ultimately is leading to your Higher goal. Having a clarity of your goal point, so keeping your track, checking all trash out at bay. Its like one needs to be alert not alarmed, prepared but at the same time spontaneous. There is always this game of win and loose which infact should not dissuade you in least way from the path of reaching your goal. The end result is always glorious, but dear keep in mind your little wins on the way has opened up your path to whole journey to complete.

PS: Friends, here I would like to add that the point left to be discussed as a game changer for Success is your ability to take risk, the courage to take that leap resting your faith on your gut feeling- your basic instincts, that its going to work; no matter the ground reality stands completely contradictory.
